Today was a big day for Samsung in terms of the ongoing rollout of updates to One UI 6 based on Android 14. The company released the new software to the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A33, as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. That’s definitely a good day’s work.
The update for the S21 FE is currently going out in the US for Verizon’s version of the smartphone. Undoubtedly, unlocked units will follow, as will the S21 FE smartphones that were sold in other countries and territories.
If you do happen to have an S21 FE purchased from Verizon, know that the update comes with the build numbers G990USQU9FWK5 and G990U2SQU7FWK5 and includes the November 2023 security patch level.
Moving over to the Galaxy A52s, this one is currently getting the update in Bulgaria, Germany, and the Netherlands. The update arrives as a 2.29GB download over-the-air and bears the build number A528BXXU5FWK4. It includes the November 2023 security patches as well. It should make its way to other European countries in the following days.
Next up, the Galaxy A33. For this model too the update is currently being seeded in parts of Europe, with build number A336BXXU7DWK6, and – you guessed it – the November security patches. This one is a 2.3GB download, by the way.
Finally, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are both receiving One UI 6 in – once again – Europe. The build numbers are X516BXXU1BWK9 and X616BXXU1BWK9, respectively for the FE and FE+. The November security update is included too.
